Experience
I worked as a nanny and helped the child with homework and tutoring. I made a 1200 on the SAT. When coming into college I skipped two maths and took higher maths than was required. In English I took many classes and made an A in all of them. I want to be a tutor because I enjoy helping kids and teens. I help my sisters all the time. I help my 16 year old sister in her classes as well as my 7 year old sister. I can relate to them and help them understand, as well as find techniques that work for them. I have taken classes above and beyond what is asked of me and made A's in all of them. I also have taken classes such as child development that helps me to understand the child and to see a problem other than them just needing extra help in a certain subject. I would be able to spot things like dyslexia and other problems. I also have a 3.5 GPA while I worked full time for a year and a half and had a child. I think that I would be a good fit because I enjoy not only working with children, but watching them learn and grow and discover themselves.
